Look at your environment
Be aware that the environment we now subject ourselves to in the modern world is full of synthetic substances ranging from the fabrics of clothes, carpets and building materials to those that are sprayed on our foods and make up our cosmetics and cleaning products. These Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC‘s) lead to a wide variety of disorders; including amongst other things contributing to psoriasis!
Therefore, try to minimize your exposure to VOC' s as much as possible.
If anything is bothering you, disturbing you, and you know you cannot get away from it, simply divert yourself in some constructive work, go for a walk, take time to do exercises and meditation. This will keep you mentally and physically fit and act as good treatments for psoriasis.
Maintain a daily routine, fix a time and do exercise regularly.
If someone is stressed because of his mundane routine life, it is good to go for a short vacation or start to take part in leisure activities. Pamper yourself by visiting your favourite place, take a warm bath, do activities that you like to do but could not do because of your tight (stressful) schedule or other priorities. By cutting out stress in this manner, it will be easier to treat your psoriasis.
Diet for Psoriasis
An organic diet rich in vegetables like cucumber, carrot, and green leafy vegetables such as greens, and sprouting broccoli. Fruits are also good for the psoriasis patient. It is also found that patient who lives on fruit-based diet through their treatment period; experience much faster result. Although this is not necessary when using Mercy Products. Common fruits used in the diet are beets, grapes and cucumber.
Once the fruit-based diet is over, go for balanced diet containing cereals, grains, pulses, green leafy vegetables, and juicy fruits.
Junk food, fried, fatty, oily and spicy foods; milk products, egg, caffeine, chocolates, shop bought 'long life' cakes and white (refined) sugar, should be completely avoided by the psoriasis patient.
Taking bath in sea water is very good for the treatment of psoriasis.
Similarly, taking bath in Epsom salt, dead sea salts or oatmeal containing water is also good. Remember do not use chemical-based, synthetic soaps as it will make the problem more severe and painful. Do not bath too much (3-4 times daily). Always dry your body with soft, clean towel after bath and do not use affected areas wet.
Causes of Psoriasis
The major causes for psoriasis are skin infection and a stressful lifestyle. Various researchers have also found that there are certain blood cells in our bodies which when become hyperactive cause psoriasis. These blood cells cause allergies on the skin and other skin-related diseases.
Psoriasis can also be a side effect or reaction to the consumption of strong drugs and medicine. People suffering from asthma, a poor digestive system or a weak immune system can also suffer from psoriasis.
